Darren McFadden, Oakland - with an assortment of poor quality backs, McFadden will get a lot of touches this year and with his speed he will win this easily.

It would be a dream come true to see future phenom, Andy Studebaker take this award home to mom and dad, but I believe this award goes to a secondary playmaker - also hailing from Chi-town - that has gone under the radar after last year's forgetable season at ND, and the Defensive Rookie of the Year goes to Tommy-Z. The year after next it will be a BC corner, Cody Allen.

Keith Rivers, Cincinnati - Rivers was a beast at USC and he wont miss a step at Cinci. Also, the past 5 winners have been linebacker and Rivers fits that bill.

Put this one in the Ol' Memory Bank: Glenn Dorsey

Matt Ryan, Atlanta - with a piss poor selection of QBs in ATL, Ryan will thrive after a few years in the NFL. If he reaches his full potential, I see him making 7-8 pro bowls in his career.
